First and foremost, I love performing for children because there is nothing like seeing the excitement on their faces when I sing to them. As an artist and writer, I aim to create songs for babies and toddlers that encourage manners, movement, and motivation. I find it inspiring to take a complex issue, like dealing with emotions, and turn it into something understandable to them. I enjoy giving my unique perspective on life through song, while keeping it simple and entertaining.

As a parent, I know kids want to be heard, have fun, and be given love and attention, and consider all these things when I write or perform. On stage, I go back in time to the “little Kim” in me so I can connect with my young audience fully. I enjoy being silly with children during my live performances, especially when they join in.  

My vision for Miss Kim’s Children’s Music and my YouTube channel is to be a place where parents feel completely comfortable letting their children watch my vlogs and listen to my music. My mission is to create an online homeschooling music platform that enables parents to entertain and teach children about life, nature, themselves, the fundamentals of the ABCs, and the world around them.
